The TLUD stove is a domestic cooking stoves operating in a batch mode. It can make use of various biomass fuels, while producing charcoal. The yield of charcoal ranges at about 20% of the initial fuel mass. Burning duration depends on biomass but ranges between 45-180 min. The stove consists of two main components - fuel chamber to fill the fuel batch and the combustor with pot stands.
