The Elegance pellet gasifier, first created in 2015, is the latest among 11 different versions of biomass gasifier that CCS has been developing for the last 6 years. This gasifier applies the forced draft to both primary and secondary air. The Elegance stove is a micro gasifier. The stove is based on the Top Lid-Updraft (TLUD) principle, and has a batch operation. The stove is optimized for wood pellet gasification but other biomass fuels, like small branches or woodchips can also be used without the fan. The fan enables mixing of the forced primary and secondary air flows resulting in a cleaner and more exhaustible combustion. The produced gas is burned on top of the burner close to the pot decreasing thermal energy loss to the environment.
