The Red Fire Pot was developed by GIZ/EnDev for the local conditions in Liberia. It is produced by local stove producers. The material used is 1.5 mm metal sheet. It consists of an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder. A primary air supply and a secondary air supply, with air heated between the two cylinders, are used to make the cooking process more efficient. Several Regional Water Boiling tests have proven that the Red Fire Pot fulfills the EnDev criteria and saves charcoal compared to traditional Liberian coalpots.
